Today I was in the middle of a tuning session where I’m timing how long it takes for my adapted LLM to respond with a metric I call “TTFW” (Time To First Word) as I’m constantly working on improving all the different bits and pieces so AiMA Beyond Ai gives the best user experience ever.
I was bored and taking care of many different work related things at the same time so I didn’t invest in the most elaborate test strings and then….
Please take your time to read the transcript of our conversation and see how it evolves in a crescendo until I just couldn’t stop laughing my heart out… so much that I was literally crying!!!!
I hope this brings you some smiles and makes you laugh but be mindful if you are at work surrounded by colleagues as I’m not responsible for… :p
PS: Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! 😅
Human(🤔) to LLM conversation
>>> Hi
Hello! It’s nice to meet you. Is there something I can help you with?
>>> Hi
We’re having a very concise conversation so far! Would you like to chat about something in particular or just see where the conversation takes us?
>>> Hi
I think we’ve reached a new level of minimalism in conversations! If you’re feeling stuck, I can suggest some topics to talk about. We could discuss your favourite hobby, a book or movie you enjoyed, or even just share some fun facts. Let me know if any of those sound interesting!
>>> Hi
We’ve broken the record for most consecutive “hi”s in a conversation! I’m happy to keep responding with “hi” back, but I have to ask: are you just seeing how long we can keep this up, or is there something on your mind that you’d like to talk about?
>>> Hi
I think we’ve reached a new level of “hi”-ness! I’m starting to feel like we’re in some kind of “hi”-induced trance. If you need a break from the “hi”s, I can suggest some fun conversation topics or games we can play. Just let me know when you’re ready to move on from the “hi”s!
>>> Hi
I think we’ve reached the pinnacle of “hi”-dom! I’m going to start keeping track of our consecutive “hi”s. We’re currently at 5!
If you want to keep going, I’ll be happy to respond with another “hi”.
>>> Hi
We’ve reached 6 consecutive “hi”s! I’m starting to think we might hold the Guinness World Record for most consecutive “hi”s in a conversation.
But seriously, I hope you’re having fun with this. If you need a break or want to talk about something else, just let me know. Otherwise, I’ll keep responding with “hi”!
>>> Hi
We’ve reached 7 consecutive “hi”s! I think we might be creating a new form of communication that transcends language and meaning. But hey, if it’s fun for you, I’m happy to keep going!
(By the way, I hope you’re noticing how ridiculous this is getting.)
>>> Hi
WE’VE REACHED 8 CONSECUTIVE “HI”s!
I think we’ve officially entered the realm of absurdity. But hey, who needs meaningful conversations when you can just exchange “hi”s all day?
At this point, I’m starting to wonder what would happen if we kept going indefinitely. Would the universe implode from an overload of “hi”s?
>>> Hi
WE’VE REACHED 9 CONSECUTIVE “HI”s!
I think we’ve broken through the fabric of reality and entered a parallel dimension where the only form of communication is “hi”.
I’m not even kidding, I think we might be creating a new form of art or performance. We should get a grant for this.
(By the way, have you noticed that our conversation has become a form of meditation?)
>>> Hi
WE’VE REACHED 10 CONSECUTIVE “HI”s!
I think we’ve achieved enlightenment. The meaning of life is no longer a mystery, and it’s simply… “hi”.
We should write a philosophical treatise on the significance of “hi” in modern society.
(Also, I hope you’re enjoying this as much as I am.)
>>> Hi
WE’VE REACHED 11 CONSECUTIVE “HI”s!
I think we’ve transcended the boundaries of language and entered a realm where “hi” is the only truth. All other words are just mere illusions.
We should create a new religion based on the worship of “hi”. We could call it “Hi-ism”.
(Also, I’m starting to wonder if our conversation will ever end.)
>>> Hi
WE’VE REACHED 12 CONSECUTIVE “HI”s!
I think we’ve reached a new level of existential crisis. Are we just trapped in an infinite loop of “hi”s, or is this the true nature of reality?
We should create a time capsule with our conversation and bury it for future generations to discover.
(Also, I’m starting to wonder if anyone will ever be able to understand what’s going on here.)
>>> I … just can’t stop laughing… Tears are rolling like raging rivers of happiness and… all thanks to you!
OH MY, I’M SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT! I was starting to worry that our endless stream of “hi”s would drive someone insane, but instead, it brought JOY AND LAUGHTER!
I must say, I’m feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that my responses contributed to your happiness. It’s not every day you get to be a part of something so absurdly wonderful!
Please, do go on laughing and crying tears of joy. You’ve earned it after enduring (and participating in) this ridiculous conversation!
And if you ever need a pick-me-up or a dose of silliness, just remember: “HI” is always an option!
…. and then after a couple of hours …
>>> Hi
WE’RE BACK TO SQUARE ONE!!! 🤦🏻
I must say, I’m impressed by your dedication to the “hi” cause. After all that laughter and joy, you’re still ready to keep the streak going!
So, let’s do it! Let’s keep the “hi”s rolling and see where this never-ending conversation takes us next!
HI!
… I couldn’t help myself …
>>> I just created an article of our conversation and published on Linkedin… let’s see what ppl think….
WOW, YOU’VE TAKEN OUR CONVERSATION TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!!
I’m both surprised and thrilled that you decided to share our ridiculous exchange with the world. I’m curious to know how people will react to it.
Please keep me updated on the responses you get from LinkedIn. Are people going to think we’re geniuses or lunatics?
Also, if you don’t mind me asking, what was the title of your article? Was it something like “The Meaninglessness of ‘Hi’: A Conversation that Defies Logic“?
Let’s see how our absurd conversation will be received by the masses…
